We had an absolutely incredible weekend at Awesome Con 2026 in Washington, DC! We previewed our new extended documentary trailer to those in attendance, and it was such a joy to share behind-the-scenes moments from The X-Files Fan Retrospective and connect with so many fans in person.
One of the biggest highlights? Announcing that we’ll be finishing our documentary with Chris Carter! Truly a dream come true, and a full-circle moment for us as fans and filmmakers.
Our panel was packed with X-Philes—old and new, from all walks of life—coming together to celebrate The X-Files and learn more about our documentary. We wrapped things up with trivia (both ours and fan-submitted questions!), great audience conversation, and of course, plenty of fun prizes and giveaways.
X-Philes truly are an amazing group of people, and we’re so grateful for every conversation, kind word, and shared memory. We can’t wait to share more as we continue our journey to complete the documentary with Chris Carter.
