About the filmmakers
Lauren Krattiger and Carly Blake launched The X-Files Fan Retrospective in 2018 and have remained a passionate two-person team ever since, handling every aspect of the project themselves, from financing and filming to production and marketing.
What began as a heartfelt tribute to the series grew into a much larger project. When the COVID-19 pandemic forced a shift in their approach, they adapted, capturing intimate Zoom interviews with cast and crew in personal spaces like living rooms and patios to garages, adding a uniquely personal dimension to the film.
Built entirely through determination, creativity, and a shared love of storytelling, the documentary brings fans closer than ever to the people and stories behind the series they love.
